Franchise Types
There are several types of franchises such as:
1 .- Franchise Business: It is one in which the franchisor gives its franchisees, all the elements required to permit the sale of goods or services to consumers, such as cell phone franchises, gift shops, restaurants, cafes , travel agencies.
2 .- Industrial Excess: This is where the franchisor grants the franchisee the right to manufacture, technology, product marketing, branding, management and administrative procedures and sales techniques, for example, food franchises.
3 .- Excess distribution or product: It is the one franchise that has as its object the distribution of product or products for both when the franchisor is the manufacturer as to when it acts as a purchasing center. For example franchises clothing, furniture, etc.
4 .- Excess of service: It is referred to that which is intended to provide a service to the end customer, as franchise language school or other training, maintenance franchise dedicated to cars, franchises that offer translation services, etc.
5 .- Corner Franchise: A franchise in which the activity takes place in a specific space and apart and at the same time within a larger area, such as within a store, as an example we can cite a franchise sales watches.
What is Franchising
A franchise (or license or concession) is the establishment of legal and commercial relationship between the owner of a trademark, service mark, trade name of a business or advertising symbol and an individual or group to use any of them to identify your business. The franchise governs the method for doing business between the two parties. Generally, the franchise sells goods or services provided by the dealer or otherwise they meet quality standards of the franchise.
A franchise is based on mutual trust between the franchisee and dealer. The franchisee provides the business expertise (marketing plans, management guidance, financial aid, location of the establishment, training, etc.) That otherwise would not be the dealer service. Points to Consider Before Buying a Franchise
To become part of a franchise must be analyzed before the following:
- That is profitable for both parties.
- There is a potential market.
- Make it easy to operate.
- That his concept of preference is original or acknowledged publicly.
- That operations are standardized.
