Social Network as a New Business Option
LinkedIn is a virtual social network, active since 2003, aimed at professionals and businesses. There are currently more than 35 million global registered users and LinkedIn is growing rapidly especially in the Netherlands. The main purpose of this website is to connect with people he trusts, so-called ‘connections’. A network is made up of direct contacts – everyone puts their digital resume – but also relationships, contacts and groups where people have direct involvement in or topics you are interested in it.
